Remembrance Day

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

This Remembrance Sunday, The New Road Area Community Association joined many others in paying tribute to those who have served and sacrificed to defend our freedoms and way of life.

Many gathered at the seafront to observe a rendition of The Last Post, as well as sing hymns, pray, and take a moment of silence and reflection. This was followed by the laying of the wreaths next to the Teignmouth War Memorial.

NRACA, alongside various military personnel, veterans, The Mayor and other organisations laid a wreath to pay their respects on this important day. Laying the wreath on behalf of NRACA was Paul Godwin-Wood (Chairman).

We would like to take this time to give heartfelt gratitude to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and those men and women currently serving to enable us to live the lives we do. This also extends to those working on the front line of healthcare, the fire brigade, the police and lifeguards. Thank you.

We will remember them.
